Not really, I have to work
today from 4pm to 12am and I am sitting here thinking that I really need to go over to my bookselves where I keep my stamps and organize them a little better. I went to Walmart today and bought some colored dots to label my stamp sets with a colored "R" so that I know which ones are retired and which ones are not. I do card swaps and you must always use the currant stamp sets and this will just save me some time. I also need to get a personal catalog together of all my sets so I know what I have and what I still want. I just don't have the energy today though...lol. I just want to sleep.
Onto today's card...This is a card that I made for my friend Beth. Beth had to say goodbye to her sweet T.C. last week and I wanted Beth to know that I was thinking of her. I know she loved that cat and how sad she feels, so I am hoping this will send a little sunshine in her life.
For this card I used a piece of 12 x 12 ivory card stock that I cut at 5 1/2" x 12", I scored it at 3 3/4" and again at 8", so I made it a trifold card. I used the Wisteria Wonder DSP to over the outsde of the card and then since I had a small 1/4" to use on the first inside flap I told the matching Wisteria Wonder ribbon and just ran it down the side (you can't see that in this picture). I punched out a whole in the 1st fold and stamped the cat from the "C" is for Cat stamp sent on the inside. I then used the scallop circle punch and the 1 3/8" circle punch for the scallop around the cat. I also used the scallop circle punch the 1 3/8" and the 1 3/4" for the "C" is for Cat stamp. I think it turned out really well. I know she will enjoy getting this in the mail on Tuesday.
